A solar array on a clay tile roof that lowers the owners' power bills without changing the look of the house.
The owners wanted lower energy bills but did not want to lose the look of their clay tile roof. We mounted the panels flush and used tile-replacement flashings, so the roof stays watertight and the array sits low.
We handled the structural review, the permit and the utility hookup, and set up a monitoring system so the family can see how much power the panels produce.
